After reading the book, The Upside of Stressby Kelly McGonigal, I have learned all about mindset. Having a positive mindset about stress will produce positive outcomes. Where having a negative mindset will produce negative outcomes. After reading this book, I decided I wanted to change my mindset. With my overall goal being to handle stress better in everyday life. To start this change I made journal entries about the current mindset I have. Next, I made journal entries about the positive aspects and values stress brings. Finally, I applied the positive journal entries to my everyday life (I started to change my mindset). Overall, the results were beneficial, it worked. I would recommend this book and change for anyone.
